![]() Intuitive calendar The DPCalendar is an intuitive Joomla calendar, which promises visitors to your Joomla website a smooth event experience. This Joomla calendar allows browsing of your events without the need to refresh the page and you can switch between month, week or day view without page load delays. Your DPCalendar can be configured to suit your target customers with its many exciting and useful options, such as date format that allows you to fully integrate this Joomla calendar into your Joomla based website. Even the event details page can be fully customized to fit with your website template. Event Management The Easy Way The DPCalendar event management is as easy as working with Joomla articles. The same interface and actions are available so there’s no need to worry about learning a whole new system. This means that your Joomla calendar can be set up with nested calendars, you can configure users with ACL and batch editing and advanced filtering is available in the backend. Event editing tasks on your fully integrated Joomla calendar such as creating, editing and deleting of events is possible on the frontend to get a really simple and easy user experience. For a quick move of date or time, you can simply use the built in drag 'n’ drop feature. If you want to increase the time slot of an event, a simple resize function allows quick expansion of the time slot. And of course we support complex recurring patterns like the first Monday of the month. Multi-Language DPCalendar uses the Joomla native language features to support your multilingual website. DPCalendar comes with the ability to attach multiple locations to one event. The locations can be administered as usual through a simple interface. This means you can reuse existing locations on multiple events. Automatic detection of latitude and longitude is provided for your convenience The map module and menu item let people to search for events based on locations. Just type in the location and the radius where the events should happen. ![]() A map is shown in the event description and under the main calendar to figure out where the events happen. Fully Integrated We live in a connected world. This means that people store events in many different calendar applications. With DPCalendar, you can fully integrate external calendars like Ical urls or Google calendar (a nice introduction video can be found ). These will be automatically displayed in the frontend calendar. At the moment DPCalendar supports the following external calendar sources: • Google calendar • CalDAV (iCloud, ownCloud, Baiikal, many more which do support the CalDAV protocol) • MS Exchange • Facebook events (private and pages) • iCal files (locally and remote) • CSV files (locally and remote) • Some Joomla extensions like JEvents or JCalPro If you have a legacy event calendar like Excel or JEvents you can easily import the events from them through the DPCalendar import feature. We plan to expand our import feature to include other sources in later releases.
